‘Incompetent’. A disparaging word. Like ‘mediocre’, ‘feeble’, ‘lacklustre’. Who wants to be thought of like that?
The Bible talks less of the fruit we should be putting into our bodies and more about the fruit we should be displaying in our lives.
I puzzle on the ways of God, His gift of grace for one so flawed.
What we are and do now is just like a seed or a bulb: plain, understated, easy to dismiss. But the potential is worth noting!
